Re: Stamps and Argos trade

Wow, didn't see that one coming. Big time trade. Should work out for both teams, with Rambo back next year, Stamps will be solid.

Re: Saskatchewan you have some serious MORON fans.

I cannot, nor will not defend that behavior. I'm not like that, but what can you say. I would agree, though, I've been to Montreal, it is a beautiful city. As for the antics, perhaps it was Karma cost us the cup. In 2007 when I was in Toronto I was in a section of Bomber Fans who came in on a bus. O...

Re: Where the Heck is everyone these days ?

Although I'm not a big time regular, for me life just seems to get busy for a while and slow down at other times. For example, for the first 10 weeks of this season I was back on after a bit of a hiatus, then I moved, bought a pharmacy, and got real busy again so I didn't have time. Now that I've go...

Re: Finals prediction thread

Phew. Things have finally slowed down at work and I can post again, rather than just keep up on the witty banter (present company excluded).

Anyhow, I'm picking the Als in the east and because I am to friggun superstitious I am making no predicitions about the Riders and Stamps game.

Re: What makes Laval stand out

Sheesh, you would think living in Saskatchewan and attending the U of S I would have remembered the Rams. Then again, the Rams can't compete with Laval, mainly because of the Huskies being a class organization. The Rams Suck!!!! GO HUSKIES.!!!! (sorry, little bit of an alegiance coming through there)

Haven't you heard, Calgary is the new centre of the Universe. It is your honour to go there.

Perhaps the absent minded professor. Or, more correctly, the professor of passing the buck.

I'm not sure. I now live in Medicine Hat, so I haven't been there since the new one opened.

Re: What to see in cowtown?

It's called "The Calgary Tower" :tease:

I recommed an nice pub called Cowboys, nice family atmosphere. After that you can go by The French Maid and catch the Ballet, that is always nice.

Re: Power Rankings - Week 10

I have no comments this week. I was away and didn't watch any of the games, I only listened to the Riders and Bombers, therefore I have no useful input. Of course, I know everyone else commenting in this article actually watched ALL off the games and can therefore make meaningful input :tease:

Re: I'm Jason Maas ...remember me?

I think Maas knew what he was getting into when he came back and that he'd pretty much be limited to spot action. He and the wife have a life and business carved out for themselves out in the suburbs, and I imagine he's got a handshake deal to become a coach when he decides to hang up the cleats. S...

Re: I'm Jason Maas ...remember me?

If I were Ma-Chump-A I would be looking to trade Maas. His stint in Hamilton was not indicative of his play as the O-Line was terrible. Send him to the Peg, get something back

Power Rankings - Week 9

I know, I know. Technically it should be "Week 10", however, since everyone has only now played 9 games, I say week 9 it is. 1. Calgary - Looks like the Grey Cup Chumps are back in fine form, vaulting them past Montreal 2. Montreal - Looked bad in a close win over the Riders, looked worse losing to ...

Re: What makes Laval stand out

Good recruiting base, good coaching and money, they have lots and lots and lots of money. Their team is operated at arms length from the school and is privately funded, which IIRC, is not the case for any other CIS team.
