Re: Aggos looking to re-up lease with RC as grass is not com

We are out of a home by 2018. Looks like the Leafs will buy the argos and they will be playing out of a new BMO stadium! I don't see anything anywhere saying this is a done deal. Agreed nothing right now is a done deal but current and still owner Senator Brayley has opened up his options by looking...

Re: Aggos looking to re-up lease with RC as grass is not com

RC will still be a prime destination for Grey Cups. It is still well kept up just like new with all of themodern amenities that will great for Grey Cups with first class suites, enclosed venue seatin 50K plus without having to add 20k bleacher seats in the end zone

Re: Touchdown Atlantic 2013, Who's Gonna be There ?

for the prices in the ens zone quite expensive. I suspect that as the game gets closer ticket prices of unsold seats will lower as part of a well publisized special. Similar to what we see Toronto often do the week of a game vs Hamilton. As the game gets closer there will begin to be more excitiemen...

Re: Touchdown Atlantic 2013, Who's Gonna be There ?

Does anyone else think they might have overpriced the tickets this year? I mean 49$ for end zone seats is a little expensive. Yes, I agree. If they wanted a sell-out, which they don't have yet, the tix should have been more comparable to other stadiums in the league. :0 :? Tix in the brand new Inve...

Re: Touchdown Atlantic 2013, Who's Gonna be There ?

I think it is time that the CFL makes a more aggresive commitment to playing games in Moncton each year to gain the momentum needed to get an expansion team there. First having one team being the annual home team for the game there each year. Toronto with its struggle to find dates at Rogers Centre ...

Re: Touchdown Atlantic 2013, Who's Gonna be There ?

I think that once University is back in session for the semester you may see some promotion to at least the three Universities nearest to Moncton with teams in the AFL UNBSJ, UNBF, Holland/UPEI looking for fans, students, and teams with an interest in seeing a pro football game. That is provide that...

Re: CFL season is coming closer

Thanks for clearing that up for me. As I have mentioned this before and i was told that Hamilton fans will not go up to Toronto because of the QEW traffic. In this case the CFL, Ti Cats, and the Argos should really make a push to get more fans from Hamilton up into a game at RC. about the same dista...

Re: CFL season is coming closer

I still think the Argos, Ti Cats, the CFL, and TSN missed out on a golden oppurituity to schedule a Hamilton at Toronto Rivalry game for a Saturday evening at Rogers Center. With the lack of tickets available for games at guelph somewhere in one of the many packages that Hamilton has had to put toge...

Re: dynasty in Toronto ??

Do not expect to see grass in Rogers Centre anytime soon for many reason including the cost, can it be grown in an indoor facility that opens the roof on nice days, and also Rogers Centre itself is a big stream of revenue for other events at RC all year round in with artificial turf is needed and th...

Re: Old QB's

I'd rather hope for a chance to grow given to Kyle Quinlan !!! :cross: :cross: He'd have to excel at training camp. He has signed long-term so who knows... Montreal invested one training camp in Quinlan before he returned to MAC and he did see a little PT as the 4th QB out of 5 that stayed in train...

Re: CFL season is coming closer

hopefully they can draw nearly 40,000 and have a few brawls between argo and ticat fans like in the good ole days. If promoted right early this could be a really happen. Noe reason under the circumstances surrounding both teams Grey Cup Champ Argos, preseason game at Varsity offering extra tickets ...

Re: More teams in the Atlantic area to come?

I kind of jumped the gun when discussing University football in the Atlantic region. In doing quite a bit corresponding with coaches, Commish, Players, and fans in the Atlantic Football League it does not appear that any of the for teams has any interested in joining the CIS in the near future and a...
