Re: Once and for all who was the 13th man?

Laying blame for the whole thing is hard to do. Who takes responsibility ? The coaches, the players ? :hmm: But ultimately, it was Jason Armtead's responsibility to make the final count on the field. :? Even if Armstead counted 13 men, there was nothing that he could have done about it as Ken Mille...

Re: 2010 Rule Changes

http://cfl.ca/article/overtime-rule-changes-get-final-approval OT rule (mandatory 2-point convert attempt): in a word, brutal. Option on field goal returns: glad they ended a rule that just made the game longer and made strong-wind games less competitive. Hopefully, the OT rule will go away in a si...

Re: Buck Pierce Winnipeg Bound ?

I find it odd though that the Bombers have possibly made the best move (signing Pierce) and the worst move (releasing Barrin Simson) this off-season. Could be a fun season in the 'peg this year, though. We've finally got a quarterback!! :yahoo: I seem to recall the Ticats thinking that when Printer...

Re: Player's Rights from U.S.

Eric Tillman used to publish his team's neg list on the Riderville site and that didn't seem to hurt the Riders. tillman mentioned many times that every team knows every team's neg list players, they have to otherwise how could you negotiated with people not on your list? Its to prevent tampering, ...

Re: Riders - Tigger trade

wow! From a Rider perspective this huge. PR is a great receiver that can finally replace the loss of Dominguez. best is all it cost was a 3rd string canadian receiver, a 3rd round pick and prospect. really none of the players going to hammer may ever play Rodriguez was a spare part in Hamilton this...

Re: Argos dump 3rd qb, Reaves.

So where is the news here? They didn't have any QBs ont he roster last year :tease:

This is odd though, I suspect McNeal might transition back and they gotta have someone close to signed or traded for cuz not often a team dumps all its QBs with no new once already announced.

Re: LaPolice is Bombers new head coach

Best of luck to LaPol. Shame to see him go especially since I think the Bombers still aren't as stable as they would like everyone to believe. The Joe Mack decision reflects that.

Re: Overtime Format Input

would love a matching possession OT that starts with a kick. from there its simple equal possessions to score and match with the game ending when one team can't match. Shootout would be ok for regualr season, but in the playoffs we skip a very important part of the game (special teams) IMO

Re: Alouettes’ Adrian McPherson wants to play, requests trade

Can't really blame the guy. he's been behind AC how long now? Als are at a crossroads with respect to is it time to go young or one last run with the old guys. Looks Like Peg or TO will have a new QB this year though.

Re: Tilman pleads guilty

there are at least 2 teams (Peg and TO) in the CFL now salavating of the chance to have Tillman. I suspect despite all the flaming of him many have done, iso and rw would sing a different tune if Tillman lands in Cowtown. You know wildthing I now know your grasping for something to say. The point i...

Well it appears he will throw his hat into the NFL ring! Personally I do not think he will last long.
Sounds like he got close to Cam Wake money, so I suspect he gone for at least a few seasons
