Re: Voting should be mandatory

Voting should be boycotted. People who don't vote should be commended. We should all get together on election day and raise a glass to NOT voting. Let the world know loud and clear that NONE of these crooked trough slobberers are fit to lead us. We should rely more on ourselves our close friends and...

I believe that Montreal beat Hamilton 82-14 back in '56. For the longest time it was the league record for most points scored in a game until Calgary beat Hamilton 55-48 in '82 or '83. Argos beat BC 68-43 in 1990 and a week later beat the Stamps 70-18. Still the worst loss in Wally Buono's career. W...

A real CFL character. His run at the helm of the Lions was very memorable. Confrontational with the media, he rubbed many the wrong way, and although I believe his sometimes abrasiveness to be genuine, it was also usually a deliberate ploy to deflect the pressure or the spotlight from the players an...

Re: How many will it be???

Its very Obvious that the Toronto Argonauts WILL win the Grey Cup this year, the bigger question is, how many Grey Cups in a row will Ricky Ray bring to Toronto? Im sure that the record 5 straight by the edmonton snowmen will fall...can the Argo's win 7 in a row, as a tribute to former Argo great C...

Re:

You know it is hard for me to say this but we really have to get Ottawa back in the league. Even though I was taught from a very young age that Tony Gabriel was a swear word in our house there are some big Ottawa memories on this thread. Another one for me was J C Watts in the 1981 grey cup almost ...

Reinebold was damn fine ST coordinator for the Lions. When the Bombers hired him as HC it was considered a coup. He isn't a bonehead. He knows his x's and o's. He may or may not have been the best choice for a HC, but the Bombers sucked first and foremost because they had low payroll and couldnt aff...

Saskatchewan has done jack squat to improve the WORST defense in the league. By far the biggest problem for the Sask offense was the fact that they were down by 2 scores CONSTANTLY which narrowed the playbook, and only had 25 minutes of possession with which to execute said narrow playbook. If you c...

Your wife is a very wise lady. ;)

Welcome, welcome. I love the NFL too, as soon as Grey Cup is over, I turn my full attention to NFL just in time for the playoff races.
