May have to watch the halftime show, much like watching between periods for Don Cherry, can't get too excited about the play of either TO team.

Being on the road isn't helping the Bombers, but I think that copying the Lions start to 2011 isn't exactly a wise move either.

I think that the Esks win this handily, but all with their D. RR needs to feel his receivers more than any other QB, that allows for the touch passing that he excels at. I don't think that he has had enough time to know his receivers tendencies as of yet, he will improve as the season progresses.

Go Lions and Geroy, get that media monkey off your back so we can all focus on the football games. Bombers had three players going last GC game, Carr, Johnson, and Willis. Two are gone, that has to hurt their chances, combined with the season ending injury to Garrett. I worry about the Lions D vs th...

Re: How many will it be???

Its very Obvious that the Toronto Argonauts WILL win the Grey Cup this year, the bigger question is, how many Grey Cups in a row will Ricky Ray bring to Toronto? Im sure that the record 5 straight by the edmonton snowmen will fall...can the Argo's win 7 in a row, as a tribute to former Argo great C...

It wasn't a game, but it was a trade which fascinated me at the time. I guess not an official trade, but the trade of Jim Young to BC for Joe Kapp, which required BC obtaining his rights from the Argos and both Kapp and Young being waived through their respective leagues. IR being rather patriotic a...

Re: Maybe he's NOT a Lemon after all..??..!!..

The Argo's...we havent had a top notch QB since Doug Flutie.... (those Damon Allen years were painful)..the Grey Cup win Allen got was the CFL version of Trent Dilfer's Superbowl win...all Defence.... Yep Allen did throw for over 5000 yards and was MOP in 2005. Who was up against him? As IR, just a...

That is a ton of reading for a Mohn's/Rita team that I won't invest in. Sorry, but the writing has been on the wall with the two NFL castoff grab bagger's.

Re: Someone Please tell me what happened????

A short follow up to the Sean Lucas 13th man debate...TSN reported last night that during the locker room cleanup, Lucas wasn't in sight. That has to be the Riders protecting him from the media scrutiny, for one reason and one reason only.

Re: Saskatchewan you have some serious MORON fans.

When did it become so bad? I can't tell you how many moronic racial comments I heard at the game alone. I just wonder how many of these fools have ever been east of Winnipeg? If you can rip off all of those tasteless French comments you've never been to Montreal that's a given. The city is GREAT an...

Would almost be worth the trip to Regina just to go into a bakery and ask for a "Rider dozen" Somehow I imagine it wouldn't be in ones best interest to eat whatever they serve  You could wash it down with a few of these: 13thmanpil.jpg Sorry this one made the rounds, i could not resist....

Re: Someone Please tell me what happened????

Chris Zelkovich has a good rundown: http://www.thestar.com/sports/football/cfl/greycup/article/732819--grey-cup-mystery-how-did-it-happen I too don't believe Armstead was the goat, but there's really no need for a returner with five seconds left. Even if the kick is missed, my understanding is the ...

Re: Why the Green 'riders Lost?

First of all, the obvious point is that there were 13 men on the field. Now, WHY would you want to have a return man in the Field Goal Formation if you are up by 2 points? This makes no sense... they should all be in Field Goal Block mode because the 1-pointer does not make a difference. However, t...
