Re: The Eskimos are Throwing the Game Against the Ti-Cats

The Edmonton Eskimos are throwing the game against the Ti-cats on Friday. Why? Because the Eskimos are smart, they will throw the game to become the cross-over team. They would rather play Ottawa and Hamilton than to go through Bombers, Lions and especially the Stamps to get the the Grey Cup. They ...

He's a lying ass but not a Bush clone. Bush was an awesome prez and history will vindicate everything he did.

Re: Worst fans

I'm thinking Ticat fans vs Rider fans. But Ticat fans don't wear melons on their heads, so... Rider fans. Wearing a suit does not include a John Deere baseball hat. I've seen them dressed like that. I'm not kidding. LOL!! Tailgate with Saskatchewan fans, or go yo Grey Cups with them, and the...

Especially true since by then the CFL will only need 10K seating for games.

TFC put 47K+ into the stadium that Ping hates, no loves, no hates, no wait ... LOVES ... no HATES!!! So Hymie (hi) was incorrect that TFC never got a crowd over 20K. They got enough to fill a bigger stadium to watch them play vs a team from their league. (it was still 2 MLS squads) And did it again ...

The writing was on the wall after his childish hissy fit dust up with O'Shea on the sidelines last season. He let his public facade slide on that day.

Also ... TFC got 45,000+ on a Wednesday. The Jays home opener will fill the place on a mid week game I believe. Yet we'll hear from Argo fans that the schedule is bad because they can't draw a crowd for a weeknight game. Well it's proven in Toronto ... if you give people a reason to come they come. ...

Re: Argos to become homeless

I don't think the Argo's are going anywhere... but with that being said, they need to start supporting Argo Football out there! There is no reason that center shouldn't sell out every game. . Perhaps you missed the part where the Argos and Jays have the same number of season ticket holders. Compare...

The biggest roadblock to any new Argo stadium has been real $$$ coming from the Argos to make it happen for real. Lots of talk and promise but no results when push comes to shove.

Re: Labour day in Hamilton ??????

I can not beleive the league has screwed up what was developing in a neat rivalry against The Als and Hamilton on Labour day in Tigerville. Just when people were getting use to the Eastern Final preview and the cats vs.Montreal they went and change the game back to Toronto vs hamilton on September ...

Re: has the cfl killed the argos with the new schedule?

You sre correct in what you say. The tfc is no longer the toast of the town and the ticket is no longer a hot one. I went 1 year too long on my seasons and will never renew with the terrible product on the field. I still beleive most people in Toronto would rather see the TFC but a fraction compare...
