Re: ok now

Nah, that's Fed Territory. Maybe just boycott prairie oysters. That'll show em. Honestly think the best response right now is no response at all. Let the emotion cool, let them twist in the wind for awhile and after a piece of time, they are going to start looking more like the bad guys here rather ...

Re: ok now

I see that the Province of Alberta today has escalated this by now banning all BC Wines from their liquor stores. Although I'm not sure how that works for private enterprises. I wish very much that they hadn't done that because it is not going to invite some kind of knee jerk reprisals from us. Beef...

Re: ok now

There you go. Kindermorgen pipeline. At issue, should a province have the right to restrict the amounts of a toxic substance going through it's backyard. This has stirred up all kinds of hostilities between the two provinces. On one hand, you have a province, whose premier is suspect is desperate fo...

Re: Manziel bad idea for Alouettes

Well for a team that has been struggling for a number of years to find a QB to rally around. A team that really hasn't had a credible QB since Calvillo, a team whose fan base is probably pretty tired of poor seasons after years of high performances, yeah, I'd say this is a pretty big gamble. Manziel...

Re: Let's get this forum rolling again

Anything is possible but it might require a bit of PR work on other forums. It also partly rests with D. I know at one point he was musing about doing something different with this site. Maybe he can weigh in if feels so inclined?

Re: Let's get this forum rolling again

I think this site has dropped from the awareness of many football fans. It would also be fair to say that other fan forums have had their struggles as well. I"m not familiar with all that have come and gone but even some of the most established fan forums have had their upheavals. Some survived, oth...

Yea, I wouldn't count out Hamilton or Toronto. All the teams in the east are struggling.

Re: Let's get this forum rolling again

Indeed, it seemed that this forum never really recovered from whatever that incident was where I think posters from one team got really piled on. This used to be neutral territory and maybe it could become so again. It would certainly beat having the "troll" word thrown around every time a poster fr...

Re: Stamps vs Lions

Sadly, the reffing still looks a little like keystone cops although I find myself getting more and more confused by the decisions being handed down from the command centre.

CFL Free Agency - Did you like your teams moves?

So, the title is pretty self explanatory. In an effort to kick start a conversation, I will go first. My team is the Lions. At the end of last year, the Lions had a number of perceived weak spots but were perhaps a better team than their on-field performances demonstrated. They lost a few names and ...

Re: Eskimo's to Offer Jason Maas head coaching job.

Apparently the league decided Monday that the issue of compensation for the Ottawa Redblacks from the Edmonton Eskimos for signing Jason Maas as their new HC is going to be settled by mediation. This may well be new territory for the league. The custom up to present is that teams wouldn't stand in t...

Huge changes in Riderville.

It has been about a week since Chris Jones assumed the title of Coach/GM in Saskatchewan and today he decided to release a few players. http://www.cfl.ca/2015/12/15/brackenridge-allen-among-surprising-riders-cuts/ REGINA — It hasn’t taken Chris Jones long to make his mark on the Saskatchewan Roughri...
