Re: Ottawa Needs A Name...

Cavaliers.

I know it doesn't have the R that deserves to be front and center on the helmets, but it is the French translation of Riders. ;)

Re: What Has Happened To This Place?

well, I got banned for a yr when I shouldnt have, but thats water under the bridge. My point was that its not a good thing that some of the bad apple MODs are still mods. However, one learns to live with these things. I cant remember what mods I had major issue with, so as far as I am concerned, It...

Even and including their foray into blending gray into their pants and uni's?

Re: Question For Section W

The delta logo was the one I most remember growing up. I thought it was excellent....and would like to see them use the stylized M & A Bird again, but drop the script underneath along with the triangular border around it.

Re: Cohon delivers great response to Clive Doucet in Ottawa

Funny how in the last seven years on Vancouver Island I have not once had anyone tell me the CFL is crap or bush. Yet while going to Argo games for years, having a licence plate of 1Argo some fools had the need to say the CFL was crap. Here I've heard I prefer the NFL but never putting down this le...

Re: Crossover Question

No, that was the case last year. The Eastern team actually finishing in 2nd place in the east hosts the game regardless if the 4th place team from the west division has more points.

Re: Sask/Calgary Game day thread

If Burris doesnt see Chick coming, he tries to get up and run or make a play... he turtled.. I spose the QB should wear flags around his waist so he doesn't get tackled... all the defender has to do is rip the flag off. Is the game played on "if's"? Unbelievable... :smackhead: Was he down when Chic...

Re: Sask/Calgary Game day thread

Well you can cry all you want about the chick call and Chick call it BS but only the Refs opinion counts. That play will be called every time count on it. Build a bridge and get over it! They way the officiating has been this year, its more than likely that it won't be called everytime. The only co...

Re: Saskatchewan Roughriders may return to rotating quarterbacks

I write this one off as the media on a slow news day trying to make more of a comment than it was. of course....I mean how can one interpret when he says that if he feels he needs to make a change after a few poor series that it can be construed as a similar situation to the previous rotation? stup...

Re: Another huge test for the CFL

it will not mean anything, certainly not the end of the CFL. at most the UFL is just taking up the spot the AFL and NFLE left behind, if it survives this season. besides it only has 4 test teams. I'll be looking out of interest. Good luck trying to find a place that will show the game. We won't be ...

Re: Green & cold for returner

We also signed former Bomber receiver/returner Ramonce Taylor yesterday. Might be a sign that Jackson's injury is affecting him, or simply that rosters are increasing. I'm a lot more excited about Green than Taylor. As am I, from his youtube clip he looks like he has some uncanny lateral abilities ...

Re: Riders @ Esks

Wow - not much of a thread here, just like the game. This was Edmontons game all day for the taking, we just didn't make the plays (if we do, we win, period). Saskabush very very lucky (yes LUCKY) for the win. Nice to see the big crowd at the game. Glad I had to work though, as that game would not ...
