Re: Must be why TSN likes Thursday games....

Well at least TSN likes thursday games, I'm not sure that anyone else does. I know I don't care for them.

Re: Calgary @ Winnipeg Game Thread

I don't respond to ridiculous posts any longer as it isn't worth my time ( and this thread has some dandy's ) but I will say that Doug Berry's job has not been and is not in jeopardy in the least. That's a fact and not supposition or wishful thinking. So then you're saying that if the Bombers had g...

Re: Calgary @ Winnipeg Game Thread

Hard to fault Berry for going for the winning score instead of the potential tying FG as long as time remained for the FG attempt. Any coach would have done that, particularly in a game that was so defensively challenged. No guts no glory. ANY coach? Hardly. Remember, this is the guy who said last ...

Re: Week 5 predictions

Another game where a key injury needs attention is Winnipeg/Calgary. Normally missing a MLB can be dealt with, but with the Bombers' D already struggling and the talent drop off from a monster like Simpson to special teamers like Hall and McKinley, this could be a big opportunity for Joffrey Reynol...

Re: Calgary @ Winnipeg Game Thread

He went from Boise State U to the Chicago Bears practice roster. From a year there he was shipped to Hamburg for two years and then to Winnipeg. Correct, but not before he made a stop at the Als TC when Berry was OC. Yes indeed Dinwiddie had a cup of coffee with the Als when Berry was coaching there.

Re: Calgary @ Winnipeg Game Thread

Is Dinwiddie that good or Calgary's defence that bad? How in the world do you allow a team to score a TD in three plays and 30 seconds in a situation like that? The biggest problem for the Stamps was not getting any pressure on Dinwiddie all night. Simple answer really, quick accurate throws and re...

Only a spin doctor would see it as having a positive affect on the Argos/ CFL. :hypno:

Re: Winnipeg at BC. Bobby Ackles day!

At least the team showed up for the first time this season, that provides some entertainment and hope. A decent game if a less than desirable outcome from my perspective. I was entertained overall, less so by our offensive offensive however. I can't see how anyone could say that Arjie Franklin took ...

Re: Bishop on waivers

Does anyone know Bishops salary? I'm really thinking a Glenn for BIshop trade is in the works. The only thing is the hit on the salary cap thanks to the Bombers signing Glenn to that big contract in the off season. But, the bombers could pay part of Glenn's salary for this year (like say the differ...
