Re: A New Stadium for Regina?

you see squirrel, thereason that homes in urban ares cost WAY more now than they did 27 years ago is that no one buys houses anymore, they but THE LAND the house is on, because in the city, the land is worth way more than the structure. I live in Vancouver. I grew up here. This is how my Dad made a...

Re: A New Stadium for Regina?

Well, the stadium won't last forever... if you are going to build a new one, the time is now. Spending 120 million to renovate doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I agree there. Although BC Place cost 108M, I know it was 27 years ago but inflation hasn't been THAT bad. They should be able to build a...

Re: 2010 Grey Cup in Edmonton

3 consecutive Grey Cups potentially all within Driving Distance for me, and to cities where I have friends living. Easy on the pocket book. Imagine the screaming if the east got 3 in a row? Umm...it just happened and lo and behold...no screaming. :juggle: Winterpeg is not the east, no matter what d...

What?

If a stadium happens it likely won't have any federal money at all attached to it.

Re: 100th Grey Cup inToronto !!!

Y not have the 100th grey cup at the center of Canada. Do u know where that is????? Great idea!!!! But it's highly unlikely that we'll see an expanson team and a stadium in Baker Lake, Nunavut by that time. Too bad. Well it's not like having a team is a prerequisite for Toronto hosting it...

The serious answer - works for TSN as a football analyst. I also believe he's been working with ESPN on their college football though I could be wrong on the network.

Re: A New Stadium for Regina?

no ofence to regina fans, but I'm not in favor of this, if your gonna build a new stadium, build it in Saskatoon. I'd rather rebuild and renovate Taylor (with the riders play a season or two in Saskatoon) than replace it. you never replace Taylor, or the MCG. I'd love to see them move to Saskatoon ...

Re: 100th Grey Cup inToronto !!!

With the recent announment that they will be 3 Western Grey cup games in a row, right up to the 99th Annual, its a shoe-in for the massive 100th grey cup game being played in Toronto. The success financially of the last Toronto Grey cup and the fact we have so many hotels and facilities to handle t...

Ya but after one season Moreno turned into draino. I mean the guy has disappeared of the radar. huh? He lead the league in defensive tackles in 2008 with 97, and had 3 sacks not sure who you are thinking of, but it can't be zeke He is a one year wonder Huh? Re: A New Stadium for Regina?

A 30,000 seat Mosiac Stadium is a great place to watch the game. With that type of price tag, even with Sask being in "the black" for the last little while, I just don't see it happening. $100 million is already being looked at in Ottawa and Winnipeg, let alone $300 for Sask. You won't see any mone...

Doubtful - the main reason is two words: Michael Bishop. They're not going to try the airdrop again especially with an egocentric malcontent like Printers.

Re: Bailout

Now I'm getting the gist of this argument -- we're smack dab in the middle of a huge conspiracy. As to what's not being said (i.e. who they believe is actually to blame), I think I can tell where this is heading. Let's just see if someone dares to confirm my suspicion. Didn't you know? It's all a c...
