Re: Als presented at the Bell centre before the Habs game

I just came back from the parade, as good as 2002, what a crowd, we closed in behind the last float, and at the players presentation, AC, Proulx, Boulay got to talk to the crowd, they then tried to conclude, the crowd started to chant to egt Cahoon to speak, they got their wish and the started to ch...

Re: Als presented at the Bell centre before the Habs game

Nice gesture by the Habs what a great crowd response: http://www.rds.ca/video/visionneuse.html?category=1&video=35185 Wow, I couldn't be further from being an Als fan but that was very impressive. Verging on spine-tingling. Er, almost. <cough> go argos go </cough> (there, I feel better now.) Th...

Re: Rogers Sportsnet and The Score

Don't know if this was posted elsewhere but maybe they don't bother to cover the game because they don't have anyone competent enough to do it? Read this garbage from Ian Mendes - http://www.sportsnet.ca/football/cfl/2009/11/29/mendes_cup/ - and it explains a whole lot: The other day, someone was t...

Re: Sesame Street in Saskatchiewan

Would almost be worth the trip to Regina just to go into a bakery and ask for a "Rider dozen" Somehow I imagine it wouldn't be in ones best interest to eat whatever they serve  You could wash it down with a few of these: 13thmanpil.jpg Sorry this one made the rounds, i could n...

Re: Rogers Sportsnet and The Score

its because tsn has exclusive rights the score and sportsnet arn't going to promote cfl ball when there is no real benefit to their station however I was shocked that the score only showed poker after the game and didn't even use a breaking news ticker on the bottom of the screen that montreal won ...

Gotta lay off the poutine, Eric....

Imagine how xgamer felt...he was there... :0 :yahoo:

X is intensive care, only the parade may bring him back alive.

Re: CFL's TV ratings continue to increase

The big issue with a TV contract not ratings. It's what sponsors will pay for spots. Can't look at the NFL either in that case. Bud pays way over what the TV is worth because they will be the sponsor of the NFL come hell or high water. The CFL does not have any sponsor that intense about them. They...

I agree that at this time of the year CBC did definitely a way better production than what TSN is doing, really disapointing.

Re: Go Als

Now.............will they choke? :hmm: Good and valid question, so far i have never an Als team and AC being so on fire, i think this may be the year he does not have an average GC game, just darn impressed by his performance today. That's what was the difference last year IMO, fire . Cgy had it an...
