Re: The 1:00 Als/Lions Debacle Explained

Deserved the TD wow, i guess i should back down because i do not feel we deserve it, maybe you missed the face mask on the same play, or your offside on the same paly maybe the offside is what forced the hold. BC were given 2 points, that you like or not, they were given to you by Higgins action, n...

Re: The 1:00 Als/Lions Debacle Explained

The Stamps when losing to the Lions after getting a winning touchdown from an onside kick that Jake the snake screwed up could not get anything out of the league. that mistake pushed Calgary out of the playoffs. So I would bet that Montreal has next to no chance of getting anything out of the prote...

Re: GDT: MTL @ BC

http://www.montrealgazette.com/Alouettes+protest+officials+error/1970182/story.html The Als have filed their official protest. If they win, they'll replay the final 50 seconds from 19-18 on Sunday before their game. Seems fair, no? Fairness is irrelevant... I have a better chance of Megan Fox walki...

Re: GDT- Esks/Stamps LDC

This one is mercifully drawing to a close, roughly as onesided as this thread... apparently Edmonton scored at some point during garbage time, but I booed because the clock stopped :smackhead:  Calgary took Edmonton to the woodshed, this one was ugly Still in first though, nothing to be asham...

Re: The 1:00 Als/Lions Debacle Explained

Seems like that is the final version given as we heard several, however that said, BC should complain about the blatant holding vs Brent Johnson on the play....whoops the non play. :i: :i: Yeah, that's the real travesty in all this, a hold wasn't called... god forbid the Lions EVER fail to get a ca...

Re: The 1:00 Als/Lions Debacle Explained

Blowing the play dead only helped Montreal anyway, as they would have been called for holding on the TD. That's far from certain. The flag went up almost immediately on the snap of the ball and was thrown by the official responsible for calling offside. My bet was that it was offside Lions. {Edit @...
