Re: GDT: MTL @ BC

I think that we are going to hear a little more about this one tomorrow, Higgin's will have some explaining to do. TEAM 1040 is reporting that the call was a procedure against the Als on the TO Official clock adjustment play. So had the play run, the flag would have forced the Als into a 3rd and 6 v...

Re: Lions chances of victory vs the Alouettes?

It's criminal the Leos are allowed to breathe the same air as the Als, much less set foot in the same building :tease: Lions may be able to save some travel money and forfeit the return encounter after tonight. Still given that this is the CFL, the home team advantage (not sure if the Lions underst...

Re: What Andy may go to the NFL?

The communication between his agent and himself may be subject to semantics here. With that said, I think that Naylor may have got a slightly different interpretation from Andy's agent(s), and ran the 'rejected' aspect, when Fantuz is still processing that, but the agents think that they can get mor...

Lions chances of victory vs the Alouettes?

ust some numbers to select, but please feel free to give your percentage and reasoning, in fact I encourage it. Lions 15 % chance of winning, the Als beat the Bombers significantly, the Bombers beat us by a significant margin and both victories had the losers getting manhandled. I have to think that...

Fantuz had over 100 tickets purchased for his Eastern games, I would think that it would be prudent for him to sign in the East and make that many family and friends all the happier cheering for him and the team.

Re: Secret to the Alouettes success?

Success? What success? Since the franchise came to Montreal in 1996 they have only won a single Grey Cup; put another way, they've won exactly as many as Hamilton. Looking at Grey Cup Champions since 1996, Toronto and Calgary have won three, while B.C. and Edmonton have two Grey Cups. Put another w...

Re: Jason Armstead back with the Riders

not ideal for the Riders but anything returning kicks has to be better at this point. Dressler is the only one thus far to show he can do it and we need him as a slot FT Yep the Riders are relying on Dressler yards way too much, much like they did with Cates a year ago, a guy can only take so many ...

Yes Richardson was a Dallas cut, but was a Rider prior to his Cowboys stint.

Re: Power Rankings Week 8

7. B.C. - Because they beat Toronto at home with three QB's, and they still have good weeks They do? Aside from the Edmonton win, I really don't see much good in the games I've seen. I'd be tempted to put a DNP beside them for this past game as well. ;) True that about the DNP. :rotf: I do protest ...

Sanchez was getting a lot of penalties with the Esks, same with the Stamps, not so much with the Als, I wonder what the difference is?

Re: Bombers Run Wild... Reid All About it Here !!

A picture is worth a 1000 words and this one pretty much tells the story. Wow... our O-line turned the Lions D into rag dolls. Reid and Bernard.. what a combo... almost 400 yards rushing!! Yaaa I know it's only the Lions but hopefully for Bomber fans this a start for better things to come. Sure fel...

That is a 180* contradiction from the picture posted above.

On a more serious note....

Lefors took a pay cut from $150K to $90K, and I notice we don't see him in the picture, perhaps Ralph was onto something. :)

NFL Airlift Delayed

In yet another quiet CFL move, the league has decided to postpone the expanded roster limits until Oct 7, a full month later than last season. http://communities.canada.com/theprovince/blogs/fifthquarter/default.aspx The Province's Lowell Ullrich muses on the Lions and CFL. Delay of game on practice...
