Re: Will Dinwiddie last?

I tend to agree with Berry's comment, at least for now. He's one heck of a relief pitcher. If the Bombers are going to turn this thing around and at least play in the East Final or better though, it's going to have to be behind Glenn, IMO. But it does certainly help to have a second guy that can tur...

Re: Riders AT "the Hammer". Game Day

While we're at it, why the heck doesn't the CFL make its own rulebook publicly available?

Re: Riders AT "the Hammer". Game Day

Nice and terrible rule. Guess the CFL just wouldn't be the CFL if it wasn't a complete and utter ****ing disgrace.

Re: Riders AT "the Hammer". Game Day

I could give less a *poop* what my team is doing. My team deserves to be 0-3 and they should've lost by 40 or 50 last night, not 18. THAT has nothing to do with this. What the refs have just done is decided that you can't force a fumble at the goalline to win a game. And that's garbage, a disgrace t...

Re: Riders AT "the Hammer". Game Day

So somebody tell me what the hell the point in following the league is when teams can win games and get them blatantly stolen by the refs? It happens every year and its happened to every team. Its a ****ing disgrace.

Re: Riders AT "the Hammer". Game Day

They will never, EVER b e taken seriously because of this *meadow muffin*. Another year of the refs deciding games for the players. Nice.

I repeat, this league is ****ing garbage. Absolute ****ing garbage.

Re: Week 1 Game Thread: Blue Bombers vs argos

The Argo defense is outstanding. They are definetly championship material. But I was hoping the Bombers would pull it off but not meant to be. it wouldn't surprise me if these teams split their series 2-2. I just hope they're not all road wins. I wouldn't be surprised in the least on either ...

Re: Week 1 Game Thread: Blue Bombers vs argos

Three or four minutes later, I agree. With a minute left in the game you have to hope for the best. With 5:40 on the clock, Berry knew he'd have a possession to at least try and tie the game. Nothing wrong with that.

Re: Week 1 Game Thread: Blue Bombers vs argos

What's the better outcome? Giving Toronto the ball on say, our 40? From that distance Vanderjagt is going to hit the kick even if we force a 2 and out, which leaves us sitting in a worse boat, because a missed field goal would've tied a 17-16 game, but not an 18-16 game. I have no problem at all wit...

Re: Week 1 Game Thread: Blue Bombers vs argos

Berry figured that a one point lead with his offense going to touch the ball at least once more was worth it. It's not his fault that the offense hit a wall at the Argo 40 all night. I think it was the right decision.

I am stunned to have watched the Lions get flatout out hustled and out played. They just got beat. And I would not have expected THAT ending in a million years.

Re: Pre-season Games

In my mind all they need to do is formalize the scrimmages most teams run about 7-8 days into camp. Every team would have a Blue and Gold game, a Green and White game, etc. Charge 5 or 10 bucks to get in, donate something off the top to charity, and be done with it. Much closer to game situations, w...
