Vanier Cup 2011

Macmaster 20 Laval 0! Late in the first half. Wow! Quinlan is playing extremely well right now. I don't think I have seen a team do this well against Laval in a big football game in a long time.

Laval 24 McMaster 23 in the 4th Quarter. Laval is a very disciplined football team.

That one was gut wrenching. Unfortunately, my beloved Rouge et Or lost, but we lost to a better team.

So Congrats, Kyle Quinlan, ant the rest of the 2011 Marauders team. Enjouy that Vanier Cup, because the Big Red & Gold Machine is going to want it back next year

That game on Friday was one of the most exciting football games I have ever seen. It may have actually surpassed the 1994 Vanier Cup game as the best CIS game ever.

Thhis might be a tad late but it totally deserves mentioning. That might have been the best game, well at the very least the most dramatic game I have ever seen. Kudos to both clubs for putting on a great show. It was the highlight of the entire Grey Cup Festivities for me.

Never too late to comment on such a great game. In fact I am kind of interested to see if Quinlan is in his draft year. If not will someone bring him to training camp? He looked really impressive in the Vanier Cup.
