In certain years, I would. There are certain weeks, actually that I would not pick the team I root for to win.

You can poke holes in every team. I do think, at this point, BC and Toronto are the most solid, though DAs age is always a concern, followed by Montreal (how's the secondary looking, BTW?) Edmonton, the Riders.

Suprisingly the secondary looks pretty good, it will be more physical IMO.

I do think that you could take any of those five, in any East-West combination, and come with the best likelyhood of participants in the Grey Cup. As usual, I'll take whoever ends up with home field in the West against Toronto.

I too, would like to think that BC can beat Toronto in a rematch of the Grey Cup. But seeing is believeing, and I'd like to see the Lions come up with a good enough offensive game plan to overcome the Toronto defense in a convincing fashion. .

Cool, but honestly most fans will believe somehow that their team will win it.
May the Cahoon be with you.

The Riders get a home playoff game and whomp the Eskimos in the process. Then they stun the Lions in BC Place in the Western Final. Finally, they'll thwart the Argos attempt for a repeat and win the Grey Cup on the Lions home turf :D

I don't know who'll win the GC but an Esks/Als grey cup game is what I will predict.
May the best team win...unless they're playing my team.

Well its that time of the year again..........I really think the Stamps are gonna surprise alot of teams this season. But I have never seen this league so deep at QB. It will be interesting but I'll go out on a limb

How about this?

(Fingers Crossed)
Edmonton beats BC in BC for the Western Semi.
Saskatchewan beats Edmonton at Terror Field.

Calgary takes on TO in the East and wins with a shudderingly shocking upset.
Calgary then defeats Montreal (as Calvillo is injured in the second to last reg. season game.)

Saskatchewan kicks the crap out of Spank and the Stumps in what seems like a home game at BC Place.

It could happen....

:rotf:
Calgary, LOL, man I must be drunk.

I didn't want to be too much of a homer...I have a reputation to maintain around here, you know

Plus, given what's happened the last 2 times we've been to BC Place, how sweet would it be to upset the Lions in their own building? :D

Predictions:
There will be a team representing the East
There will be a team representing the West
One of those teams will win.
It will be held in BC
Lots of beer will be drunk
Lots of good times will be had
I will remember about 60% of them

Yup. It's a homer thread.

How's about changing it to : Other than the team you support, who do you think has the best shot at winning the Grey Cup?
They can sell me a flag but i can't wave it on a stick?

There must've been a lot of flag-on-flag violence incidents in the Rogers Centre...
