I too was taken completely off guard regarding GCG. I tend to lose track of CFL related activities during the winter and tend to only return to Canada late March or so. I am now back in Calgary attempting to catch up on what has occurred. I remember GCG from his various posts here and else where. I also just caught up with what happened to Rich from the other tread.

We are losing some of our best talent, which saddens me greatly. My deepest sympathy goes out to Garry's family and to Rich's family also. Hopefully we will see Rich back here soon! Life is too short as it is!
My CFL includes Ottawa

I'm new to the site, so I never knew GCG, but obviously he was a great guy! Sorry to learn of his loss.

Today would have been Garry's birthday. We miss you my friend.

For those who knew him and those that didn't, here is a link into his photobucket, just to get an idea of his sense of humour.

I was watching the CFL Preview show. they have Milt on and showed his big record breaking catch at the retro game last year. that catch will always remind me of seeing it live while sitting beside GreyCupGarry.

We miss you Buddy

its really going to kick in next saturday. At the ex game I looked up at his seats as I always did and saw Ally and Brad waving away at me. We all knew what we were thinking although we were at least 1000 feet away for each other!!!!
I miss you too buddy!!!!

Nice :good:
Contrary to popular belief, the most dangerous animal is not the lion or tiger or even the elephant. The most dangerous animal is a shark riding on an elephant, just trampling and eating everything they see.

Perry, if you can, drop by the tailgate. Pulled pork is being made in his honour on Saturday. Cheers!
