I was a huge Larry Key fan during his short stay with the Lion's in the early '80's. He and John Henry White made a formidable tandem in the back field!!

I've always been Hachiko for a number of years. It's the name of this Akita from Japan who has always shown loyalty and companionship to his master, even after he died. So in a way, I wanted to pattern my life after Hachiko's legacy. Hence, my name.
Hachiko: A :olrr: fan since I burned a CD containing a couple of their songs five years ago.

My name simply means that I'm an Eskimos' fan and the 86 is for Scott Robinson, who is my favorite player, who unforchantly is currently looking for a new change of address.

When my buddy and I were in high school we gave fake names to the cops every time we got hassled for drinking at a park or at a bush party etc. I was Darnell Clash and my friend would be Fred McGriff.

Plus Darnell Clash was the 1st Lions player I idolized as a kid, I got to meet him once when I was about 10 years old and though that was the coolest thing ever.

The "Clash Dash" used to be about Darnell returning punts and kickoffs for TD's, now I keep the tradition going by making the "Clash Dash" all about getting a beer and hot dog between plays at BC Place.

How did you choose your name

Post by notahomer » Tue Jul 05, 2005 10:45 am

I chose my name 'notahomer' simply because I am not a homer. I have watched LIONS games at BC Place and agreed with the call made by an official against the Lions. Fellow Lionsfans just assummed that I was cheering for the Visitors. No way, I am a Lions fan all the way. My friends who are Stamps/Eskimo and/or Argo fans realize I am not going to let my judgement of a call be biased based on it being for/against my team. I just think I can be a Lions fan while still admitting that an official was right on a call going against them...
