2010 power ranking thread after week of of exhibition

Postby LRCHC » Wed Jun 16, 2010 6:07 pm

early - you bet - just wanting to get something started here, a kick off to another exciting CFL season. Here's my picks after the first exhibition games:

1. Wpg - (crushed the defending G.C. champions....ah, OK the 3rd stringers wearing the GC champs uniforms) and LaPolice seems to be a godsend in Wpg - I might switch back now

2. B.C. - Beat the defending West division champions in their own back yard

3. Calgary - Come from behind win with backup Tate (IMO he looks really good)

4. Toronto - A win over Hamilton - this might be the highest they rank all year

5. Saskatchewan - solid outing with their backup (Dinwiddie) even though they lost

6. Edmonton - Ray looked good for all his two series - but no running game without Whitlock

7. Hamilton - Lost to Toronto - ugh

8. Montreal - with that sad sack group of 3rd stringers, where else could they finish?

Ah, the exhibition season - can't wait for the real season to start. BTW - these rankings are worth about as much as win is in the preseason

Figures you would approve. All teams except the Argos get at least some respect.
Contrary to popular belief, the most dangerous animal is not the lion or tiger or even the elephant. The most dangerous animal is a shark riding on an elephant, just trampling and eating everything they see.

Trouble with the CFL Pre-Season is that the home team should always win. They play their starters for the home town crowd to see and get excited about the season with and as long as they build enough of a lead in the first half for the back ups to deal with they should win.
