June 29: Winnipeg @ BC

The night-cap on TSN's FNF double-header should be a whippin'. I don't believe the Bummers improved any position in the off-season. I still think BC may not be the cup favourite many pundits seem to think they are. Still, they will be in the top half of the league, and the Bombers won't.

The real bet is which quarter will Geroy break the record. They Will stop the game when he does. I'll say 3rd Q.

Go Lions and Geroy, get that media monkey off your back so we can all focus on the football games. Bombers had three players going last GC game, Carr, Johnson, and Willis. Two are gone, that has to hurt their chances, combined with the season ending injury to Garrett. I worry about the Lions D vs the run, but to counter that the Lions will need to jump out to quick starts.

Glad it's done and over. A little disappointed they didn't crack 30,000 in attendance for this one.

Problem with Long Weekend Games in Vancouver. Usually accounts or a few thousand not making the game.

They had only 26,000 in calgary but 35,000 in edmonton. Never an issue there. Last year in Montreal we only had 22,300 and that was in spite of back to back championships. brutal.
