Stick a fork in Hank- he's done

Postby Gill The Thrill » Fri Jul 06, 2012 9:41 pm

He can't complete a deep pass anymore. Can't seem to hang on to the ball when they need a big down. 2nd and inches and he fumbles while attempting to pass. :0 :pass: in a league where the defense must give a yard off the ball. :0

Both Ticat TD's were based on great individual efforts. Hank may be credited with a 95 yd TD pass, but Jevon Walker did all the work making all the YAC yards after a 5 yd pass and taking advantage of some solid blocks. The 2nd Cat TD was a Special Teams TD also. Hank can't get the ball to any of his receivers and it's not as if he has no experience or talent out there.

Thank god the Argos did not get this guy...Ray may not be far behind, but he's got something left in the tank...Burris is finished. He might as well be Tim Rosenbach at QB for the Cats. :pass:

While the guy is showing he can still play, I'm glad he's a Ti Cat & not a Stampeder anymore. There's not a lot of "We Miss Hank" talk coming from Stamps fans here in Calgary even though we are struggling. Hank's huge knock is that he has monster regular seasons but chokes in the playoffs. As a Stamps fan, I've seen it first hand. He played on previous Stamps teams that should be multiple GC champions & while not every playoff loss has been his fault, I can point to at least 2 that were. In 2006 & 2010 he played like a scared rookie in both games... AT HOME... & we lost. Then Burris had some social media issues here in Calgary that were embartassing to himself & the team. The first having a picture of him with a women in a bathing suit beside him while he wore a black bra & the other defending Jerry Sandusky on twitter only to have Theo Fleury strongly criticize him. It was time he left. For Burris's sake, I hope he sheds that choke label & leads the Ti Cats to a GC victory but somehow I doubt that it will happen.
I've got soul but I'm not a soldier.
