Touchdown Atlantic 2013?

Postby Ticats85 » Wed Dec 19, 2012 2:29 pm

Their has been speculation that the Riders and Cats will be the ones who travel out to the east coast next year for a game, this would be great, Will their be a game in Moncton next year? possibly 2 with the Cats not playing at Ivor Wynne?

I sure hope there will be two games, How about 3 or 4? I know it won't happen, but to think a bit bigger, how about a game in Quebec city?, two in Moncton, or Moncton/Halifax, and how about, Here's the stretch, Have B.C. play Hamilton, in St. John's! A true coast to coast match!
I would go 100% to the NFLD game,

I went to the Toronto TiCat 0-0 exhibition game in Halifax. Great city and a great time, I'd love to go again. I've been in school the past few years, and will be done this spring, so I think I deserve a trip out East,

The Ticats are selling season tickets for 2013 which looks like they're playing all 10 games at the U. of Guelph.

They've always sold season tickets the years any team have been playing out East have they not? They just compensate the price,

If the Bombers are playing, we'll almost for sure be there, as there's a group of us from Ottawa, Winnioeg, and the Hammer that get together every year,

Glen, I spoke with Mark Cohon in Moncton this past November when the Grey Cup train rolled in for the visit. I asked him if there will be a TD Atlantic this year, 2013, and he said yes, but would not say which teams. He did answer our questions if Hamilton would play a home game or two in Moncton, and the answer was no. He said they will play all their home games in southern Ontario, close to Hamilton.

You guys would love being in Moncton for TD Atlantic....500% better time than Halifax was in 2005. Moncton really knows how to put on an event. Most of the guys like TiCatfan, Tigger, and a bunch more said it was just like being at a mini-Grey Cup. You'd have to come Thursday so you could take in the whole weekend: Friday-Night-Lights High School football, Saturday CIS game, and then CFL on Sunday.

I'm really hoping for Winnipeg vs Saskatchewan this year. :D

I've heard from pretty good source, that Hamilton will be hosting Saskatchewan in Moncton,

I'll try and see if I can get a more concrete lead,
It would be nice if the schedule was out already!

Maybe the Riders are the ones giving up a home game.
There is one thing that no Argo fan should ever forget - Rob Ford, Doug Ford, Paul Godfrey, Phil Lind and Larry Tanenbaum are all pure evil!

I guess anything is possible but I would be surprised if the riders gave up a home game. Moncton is an increase in gate receipts for Hamilton but would be a decrease in revenue for the riders.

Maybe, but maybe it makes sense since I heard that the Saskatchewan stadium burned down...

Did anybody else hear about this?

That would be nice but when him and I were talking in early Nov in Moncton, it didn't sound like it would be Hamilton. Any team would be great though.

I'd love to see an East Coast "Banjo-Bowl". We could all dress up like potatoe farmers and fisherman and call it the Fiddle bowl. :rotf:

Let me know what you hear. I sent you a PM as well. :beauty:
