It seems close, until you think about it.

I really look forward to a nice summer night, watching football outside, and having great bbq, oh, and I almost forgot the beer

I look forward to Fri. night games. Our local pub has 2 for 1 steak nights. We never forget the beer. A frosted pitcher on our table. Yum. I didn't mention my wife is as big a CFL fan as I? I'm pretty lucky!

The home opener in TO against the ticats will seem like the True Labour day game.

I haven't kept track on which teams made the most changes, but I noticed the Argos didn't just sit around. They even made coaching changes. So...if I had to predict, I'll go with the Argos. The west doesn't thrill me at all this year.
Hamilton and Montreal will be interesting if not fun to watch.

It will be interesting to see if it is a true labor Day Crowd at the game. The Argos first regular season game at home as defending Grey Cup Campions with season ticket holders getting extra tickets due to the lack of available seats for the pre season game at Varsity.
Hamilton's season opener against rival Toronto with no Labor Day game. New coach with a large reputation as a CFL great making his return to the CFL to bring Hamilton out of the many years of furstration. Home games at Guelph stadium out of the city as well with very limited ticket availabilty for the average fan who would go to a game or two each year leaving very little room for these fans to attend games. The hated Rogers Centre on opening Day and not a return to Toronto again until October.
Has all the makings for a very huge crowd.
Problem a 7:00 Friday night game in Toronto with Hamilton Fans having to travel to the game p the QEW in rush hour traffic
If Hamilton fans want to see there Cats live at any stadium they would need to get on top of this quickly and make the arrangements or may have to wait until early october for another shot at seeing a game live

I'll be there june 28 with my dad. They gave me a deal as a season ticket holder that I can buy 40 dollar seats at 20 dollars.

as for regina i'll make sure not to forget the sunblock.

Thats a good promotion for Argo season Ticket holders on opening day considering that there will be those left out of the game at Varsity.
With a similiar issue Happening in Hamilton reaching out to the Ti Cat organization and there season ticket holders and only about 15K seats available at Guelph and no Labor Day game offering a similar deal could get get a big opening day crowd. Half price 40 dollar seats to both Argo and Hamilton season ticket holders is a reasonable promotion that could interest both sets of fans
