The best game this week at first glance would be Tor-CGY but with Nik Lewis, Mo Price and possibly Jon Cornish being out with injuries the Stamps offence might be in for a tough day. The way the Argos offence is playing this one could be a blow out, so i'm going to pick Edm-Ssk for game of the week, I think Ssk will come out blazing considering the poor performance against Mtl last week and Edm offence is coming together nicely, could possibly be a shoot out in Edmonton on Saturday.

I'll go along with that pick as well. But I think Reilly will get a few picks. Interception wise.
The Argos were nice to him.

I didn't hear about a Cornish injury. Too bad. I was looking forward to a Grey Cup rematch. I'm wondering if Tait is worth keeping around. It's not like he's using an Albertan MSP . His medical bills are probably alot. Patch him up until the next surgery, I suppose.

I'll go with Cal-Tor too. If only because Argos defense played so badly last week that even if the Stamps have Cornish and co out of the line-up they would still present a formidable challenge. Calgary's defense is pretty good so don't look for Rickey Ray to be setting any records this game. All the other games have the look of blowouts to them.

What a game in Montreal tonight, I didn't see that coming. I would have to say game of the year so far, what a catch on the hail mary at the end of the game. It wasn't the prettiest game at times but my god was it entertaining!

A greatly entertaining game. It was quite amazing to see Lulay play like the new rookie while occasionally showing flashes of the really good quarterback that we know he is. Then pulling Nieslander after only three passes was kind of mean but probably the right thing to do. Wouldn't be surprised to see him cut this coming week.
Marsh tried his level best to win and lose the game and while it's always great to cheer for the underdog he really did not deserve to win the game. His decision making is really suspect but he's got the wheels and gets the crowd to their feet.
But really this game had every thing going on, there are just to many to list.

Considering I'm a Lions fan, that was painful to watch! But entertaining as hell. Really crappy play calling. I'd like to see Chap sacked. Defence got most of their points.
Great call by Popp. 3rd and goal from the 3. That was a big moral booster/dropper. Glad to see Marsh figured out AB3's talents.
Not too easy predicting games, but it sure is a nice surprise when wrong.
I wonder if the Lions will make any changes.

Good point re Chapdelaine. The play selection sure seemed stunted and unimaginative.

I know there's alot of people out there who rewatch games. I'm not one of them. I do remember alot of Lion receivers with blocking assignments on running plays. That sounds questionable. Not all receivers are Nik Lewis.
Not much of a Ticat game. It started at 10 AM in my neck of the woods, so I happily ignored it. Good decision.

The Ticat game was quite entertaining to me but I'm just happy to see the Cats play well even if it is against the Bombers. The game of the week though would either go to Edm-Ssk or Mtl-Bc it's a toss up, both were very exciting and enjoyable games to watch.

My pick for game of the week is Edm-Cal in the only labour day classic game played on Monday this year, It saddens me that there will be no Tor-Ham game this weekend but what can ya do?

On paper at least (and given healthy teams) there should not be a game of the week this week, just 4 blowouts.
But with Ray injured Montreal has a chance unless the Argo defense finally starts to perform.
Even though Edmonton is getting better they still do not come anywhere near Calgary's level even without Lewis and company.
Sask and Winnipeg might not be another 52-0.
embarassment it still won't be at all close.
And that leaves a steadily improving Hamilton against an unsure BC.
So my vote for game of the week is Hamilton and BC.

I also agree tonight's BC-Ham game has the potential to be very good. BC are looking to prove their offence isn't too predictable and Hamilton is on a roll. I expect a close game and a high scoring one
