Paris Attacks

Post by Sir Purrcival » Sat Nov 14, 2015 9:08 am

Nov 13, 2015 was a horrible day for Paris, for France and for the world. A day in which misguided individuals carried out a vicious and cowardly attack on innocent people going about their daily lives. We mourn for those that have been killed, hurt, their families and their friends. We stand united with the people of France today and hope that the path to healing and recovery isn't elusive although we suspect it may be.

Above all else, this reminds us of what is important in life. We can be angry but not vengeful, we can be sad but resolute. Our best response to attacks such as these is to continue to live by the values that we cherish. Those that would do these things hope that fear will lead us to despair. Our answer, the only answer that can be is to remain true to ourselves and those things that make our world a better place. Unity, brotherhood and dignity is our calling card and no amount of fear mongering can take that away. Thus is how I answer the attacks of Nov. 13, 2015.
