Contrary to popular belief, the most dangerous animal is not the lion or tiger or even the elephant. The most dangerous animal is a shark riding on an elephant, just trampling and eating everything they see.

I'm just watching the Ultimate fighter,

When do Forest and Rampage fight? Or has it already happened?

I like the new format for TUF. More fighting and less gay house playing.

Ya it was a way better format. I'm anxious to see the next show now. I don't know if the fighters are taking it more seriously now or what but they seem to be better fighters and maybe taking it more seriously the house isn't as dramatic as it has been. Anyways it's making for a more serious show

Another event tonight with a few good matches. Aside from the main event with GSP, I'm curious to see how Lesnar does against the new-look Herring. Anyone else catching it tonight?

In case anyone is interested, Ken Shamrock is fighting Kimbo Slice tonight on CBS, I know it's not UFC and these aren't the most talented guys, but it should be good for entertainment value and it's free!

Saw it on youtube. What a disaster for that promotion.

EliteXC got what they deserved IMHO...

I'm a MMA fan, but seeing a street thug being "built" aas a true MMA fighter with 3 easy win in the cage and no real competition...just didn't cut it for me....

When Kimbo fell down, you could hear in the background EliteXC stock dropping also...lol

Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar. Mr Experience vs Mr Brute Force.

I think Randy Takes it. Lesnar may be a monster but he hasn't finished anyone yet.(nor gone 5 rounds) Couture is just too tough and crafty and the first time he catches Lesnar .. Lesnar will break mentally.

My $$ is on Randy...I have a couple of bets (breakfast, coffee, timbits, ect...) going on at work....

We have to remember that the winner of this fight will meet the winner of the Nogueira vs Mir fight & unify the 2 interim-HW belts in 2009.

Nice to see a good guy in the UFC
--Anderson Silva was in Surrey, BC yesterday to make up for his nonappearance when he wasn't allowed into Canada. There was a 2 1/2 hour line to see him. Reader Ed Ludwig was there and said that when they were about to take a one hour lunch break, Silva got up and told the people running the appearance, "I can't leave as these people have been lined up in the pouring rain for hours."

Wow, sorry I haven't been more active in this thread.

We've seen some nice cards this past 5-6 weeks.

Rampage KOs Silva.
Evans KOs Griffen.
Mir KOs Noguiera.
Emilianenko KOs Arlovski.
St. Pierre TKOs Penn.

Hopefully we'll see Penn more active at 155 now that GSP cleaned his clock. I'd like to see him against Florian (likely, I'd think) or Aoki (unlikely, but would be cool).
Dream out loud.
