The scary part is, he ran for the leadership of the Progressive Conservative party of Canada.. can you imagine what this country would look like if he had actually won?

Let's see: He would not have brought in the GST or Meech Lake accord nor denied Winnipeg the CF-18 contract. The PCs never would have disintegrated as a party. Chretien likely never would have been PM.

I bet you he supported those policies.. if he ran the country like he ran his other businesses.. then we would be singing the Star Spangled Banner rather than O Canada as our national anthem...
