in that edmonton game the canucks sat out 6 regulars and the captain played a wopping 22 seconds to keep his ironman streak going .... i don't think they took that game to serious

Schnieder will play game 1

That's not an Iron man Streak. It's more like a floppy dead eel kind of streak. LOL

imagine if you can a player who plays 1st line minutes and is the target of opponents now imagine that he has played every game since the last time the Leafs made the playoffs ... that is an ironman streak

Word is Schnieder is still ailing with a "body injury" so Lou will start in game 1

That's what I thought as well.
Heres a nice math question.
If the Bruins had 40 shots on net and Reimer let in 4 goals and if the Sharks had 28 shots on net and Luongo let in 3 goals.
How much would Gillis pay Reimer?

the answer is Luongo had no chance on any that beat him but Reimer clearly should have had 2 of the goals that got by him
so your answer is $2 and as a signing bonus a Blue Bomber toque

Yeah, but the Canucks were trying to dump Luongo and his contract off all summer...and nothing...then the contract deadline came about and nothing again. I'm not really trying to say Reimer is better than Luongo, but I hope he does good.
I also hope Luongo does well, considering his freakin' contract.
Next up...where were the overpaid goalscorers? Sweden is lovely this time of year.
Habs are up tonight! My team.

Well with Schnieder out it's just as well they didn't trade him. I think the problem is not so much his contract but the salary cap going down.

the Price looked wrong tonight ... Habs are my 2nd favourite team
how about Loungo for Price ... Price comes back to BC and Loungo goes home to Montreal

Luongo is overpriced. That's what happens when you put a player agent in as GM. He's practically Santa Clause.
I hope the Sedin holograms can get at least one point between them.lol

every player in the league is overpriced

Luongo has a cap hit of 5.3 million per season which is quite reasonable for a top goalie in the nhl

Top goalie is my argument. He's average. And the Habs know it as well. How long is his contract good for?
Leafs tonight. I hope their defence tightens up a bit.
